Gateway to South Asia: Travel Mart,
Sri Lanka - 2006
For the fourth consecutive year, the ‘Gateway to South Asia Travel
Mart, Sri Lanka’ - 2006 took place from June 16th to 18th, 2006 at BMICH,
Colombo. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar participated in the event along with
over 200 prominent international buyers.
Notwithstanding the political unrest, the objective was to showcase Sri
Lanka, its products and services,
highlighting all they have to offer as a destination,
along with building the concept of tourism in South Asia.
At the seminar, Shriji delivered a presentation on
’Heritage Tourism New Trends ; New Opportunities’
on June 15th 2006.

During Shriji’s visit to Switzerland to inaugurate
Ashvin Gatha’s exhibition of photographs, at Globus Department store, during their India Promotion week, Mr. and Mrs. Andre Faletti hosted a cocktail party on the 19th May 2006 in his honour. A number of distinguished guests from Geneva attended the gathering.
