Shriji at Sotheby's Sotheby Holdings, Inc. is an auction house of a variety of property, including fine art, antiques and decorative art, jewellery and collectibles. Its principal role as an auctioneer is to identify, evaluate and appraise works of art through its international staff of specialists; to stimulate purchaser interest through professional marketing techniques, and to match sellers and buyers through the auction process. In New York, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar and Princess Padmaja Kumari met the senior officials of the company Mr. Richard C. Buckley Managing Director (North and South America) and Mr. Robin Woodhead Chief Executive (Sotheby's Europe and Asia) at a lunch organised by Ms. Barbara Cates at Sotheby's. She also invited Shriji and Princess Padmaja on cocktails and dinner at Swifty’s Restaurant on 12th July 2006. All arrangements for Shriji's visit to New York were meticulously organised by Mr. Victor Biswas of Int. Ventures and Travel Inc. He also hosted the dinner on 9th July in honour of Shriji and Princess Padmaja |
