Shriji at Mr. Bentley’s birthday celebration
On Sunday the 16th July Mr. Howard Bentley, a cricketing friend from the1960's traveled to London to celebrate his birthday at the Lanesborough Hotel in London with Shriji.

 

A reception at Christies
On Tuesday the 18th July, Shriji attended a reception at Christies hosted by Mr. Charles Cator, Chairman of Christies and Mrs. Tom Craig. The diaries published by Sinclair Stevenson under Mrs. Craig's nom de plume, Ann Allestree, depict a vivid account of her life from the 1960's. She is a descendent of Dr. Richard Allestree, author and provost of Eton in 1665-1680 and a contemporary of the diarist John Evelyn. A signed copy of the book is housed in the Maharana Mewar Special Library.

Dinner in London hosted by Sir G.K.Noon
During his short visit to London in July a dinner was hosted by Mr. Mohammed Dadabhai on the 18th July, and by Sir G. K Noon in honour of Shriji on the 19th July. Both evenings were attended by a number of distinguished guests.
