Seminar on
interior design traditions in India
A seminar on interior design traditions in
India was organised at the School of Design
(SID), CEPT University, Ahmedabad on
September 2nd, 2006. The seminar was
inaugurated by Mr. Balkrishna V. Doshi, an
internationally renowned architect and one
of the founders of the School of
Architecture, CEPT. Shriji Arvind Singh
Mewar of Udaipur was invited to give the
keynote address.
The premise of the seminar was to increase
awareness on the historic perspective of
interior design in India leading up to
contemporary times; to develop and share
methods that have existed in India; to
create a platform to bring together the
divergent experiences of the professional
through presentations, documentation and
exhibitions and to facilitate lively
discussions.
HRH Group of hotels opens Company Guest
House in New Delhi
Following traditional rites, Shriji Arvind
Singh Mewar of Udaipur inaugurated a new HRH
Company Guest House in New Delhi on
September 25th, 2006. The event was attended
by Mr. Kirpal Singh, Senior Manager Sales,
Mr. Kamlendra Singh, Manager PR. Mr. Gyan
Mohan Lal and Mr. Ashish Mohan Lal from
Anmol Gems were also present.
The occasion was followed by a cocktail
party in the evening that was attended by
representatives from the Delhi Sales office.
Other guests included Mr. Gyan Mohan Lal and
Mr. Ashish Mohan Lal, Ms. Poonam Malhotra,
Ms. Paramjeet Kaur, Mr. and Mrs. Deepak
Dhish, and Mr. V.K. Shrivastav. |
