Dandia
Dhamal at The Promenade
A high-spirited programme of song and dance
sequences was held at The Promenade from
September 23 to October 01, 2006. Starting
at 7 pm the magical ambience lasted late
into the evening.
Stalls of vegetarian food provided guests
with an assorted cuisine and in observance
of Navratra a special counter serving
Sabudana ki Khichadi, Kangni ke Pakode and
Rabri was set up for those respecting the
nine days of fast.
A lucky draw with surprise gifts was
included in these celebrations. The
Promenade along on the banks of Lake Pichola
provided a magic atmosphere under the moon
and stars with twinkling lights and music.
The huge gathering stood testament to the
event's success.
