Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attends the
fifth EDIDA in New Delhi
Shriji attended the 'Elle Deco International
Design Awards, India 2006' where he presented an
award. The celebrations were scheduled for the
evening of October 13, 2006 at The Grand, in
Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The evening started with
Art and Design Preview Cocktails at 7:30 pm. The
EDIDA presentation ceremony took place on the
lawns of the hotel and was followed by dinner.

Polo Exhibition Match in Jaipur
The Jaipur Riding and Polo Club hosted its
seventh polo season from Oct 1st to the 22nd.
During this period three tournaments were held
as well as four exhibition matches.
Shriji attended the event on Thursday, 19th Oct
as a Chief Guest for the Exhibition Match - 'The
Jaipur Gold Cup'. The match was a 'Battle of the
Sexes' game where the International Ladies Team
took on the Jaipur Men's Team. High tea followed
the adventurous game. |

Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur,
Executive General Manager, Shiv Niwas Palace and
Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur was invited to
participate in Fortune Most Powerful Women
Summit that took place at the Ritz Carlton, Lake
Las Vegas, Nevada USA between the 4th and 6th
October 2006.
The Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit was
launched in 1999 to provide a forum for women of
power and influence who are changing the
business landscape. Developed with the guidance
of Fortune editors and the input of a number of
participants, the MP Women Summit has become the
premiere gathering of influential women. It has
grown to include leaders all over the
world-women of power in business, the arts,
government, and philanthropy.
Speakers at the conference from the USA included
Andrea Jung, chairman and CEO of Avon Products,
Ann Moore Chairman and CEO of Time Inc and Dina
Powell, Assistant Secretary for State for
Education and Cultural Affairs, Deputy Under
Secretary of State. Speakers from India included
Rama Bijapurkar, Founder, Rama Bijapurkar
Management Consulting and Barkha Dutt, Managing
Editor of NDTV also spoke at the Forum.
