of directors meet in Udaipur on October 5, 2006
at Jagmandir.
After gathering for cocktails with Shriji Arvind
Singh Mewar of Udaipur at Shambhu Niwas, guests
proceeded to Jagmandir in a grand procession to
Bansi Ghat. The palace island of Jagmandir was
partly illuminated by a firework display and
with ladies performing traditional dance in the
Darikhana, it was a spectacular sight.
There was also a recital of contemporary
classical dance by the celebrated artiste Daksha
Sheth and her popular daughter Esha Sherwani.
The performance was followed by a sit down
dinner for the guests. |

Rupal daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ramesh Sachdeva marries Jiten,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Kantaria in a three day
event in Udaipur from October 13 -15, 2006
The theme of the event was the romantic duo,
Krishna-Radha. The Mehendi ceremony was held at
the Zenana Mahal with traditional dancing and
singing followed by Raas Garba at the Shiv Niwas
Palace Lawns on the October 14. The wedding
itself was held at the captivating palace island
of Jagmandir on October 15. The Baraat started
from the sunset terrace, Fateh Prakash Palace
with elephants, horses and camels and dancing to
the promenade from where guests made their way
across lake Pichola, to the island of Jagmandir.
The revered Murari Bapu sat in the Mandap to
bless the couple during the ceremony. |

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Fauchier
from London celebrated their 20th wedding
anniversary along with close friends and family
on the palace island of Jagmandir on October 9,
2006.
The evening was illuminated by a full moon
adding to the enchantment.
There was a dance performance with traditional
folk dances, rope dancers and fire eaters during
the dinner after which the guests were treated
to a dynamic bollywood jatka dance performance
which went on until the early hours of the
morning. |
