International Conference on Environment and Globalisation
An international conference on Environment and Globalisation was held at The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace on January 5. New England Business Administation Association, Laksyapra Foundation, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology and Advent Age Education Association organized this conference. Chairman and Managing Trustee of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the conference along with Mewar Mahamandaleswar Mahant Murli Manohar Shastri; Professor B P Bhatnager, President, Pakshpra Foundation; Mr. Naresh Gill, Director, Advent College and other dignitaries, scholars and scientists. The conference raised seminal questions such as the need to create an agency for environmental protection, and an immediate need to prohibit the use of non-eco friendly products.

Gazal Evening
'Rang-Tarang', a musical association driven by the youth, organized a gazal evening on January 6. The singer was a local Udaipuri, Mr. Devendra Hiran. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended and Mr. N. N. Mathur, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court was the chief guest for the evening.

Launch of Celebration Mall
The city of palaces, Udaipur is all set to receive its new sparkler. A miniature model of Celebration Mall was inaugurated by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, at The Trident Hilton, in Udaipur on January 12. Shriji was the special guest of honour along with Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur. Mr Rachpal Singh, Chairman, AIPL; Mr. Daljeet Singh, Executive Director, AIPL and Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva, Sr. Vice President, AIPL were also present along with other distinguished invitees. This Mall will introduce contemporary culture to the city of Udaipur.
