Summer entertainment at Shikarbadi Hotel
A two-day event to lift the soporific mood of summer was organized by the Poolside and Jhula Lawns at the Shikarbadi Hotel, on May 19-20. Special arrangements were made to entertain children with cartoon shows on a big screen, a painting competition and assorted engaging games and toys. The cuisine was unlimited and party food and drinks were available at affordable prices. Everyone had a grand time at this prefect location by the Pool at Shikarbadi Hotel, far away from the stress and heat of city life.
The festival will be reintroduced on June 9 -10.

The Garden Hotel hosts a Food Festival
A three-day food festival 'Jeeman' was organized at the Garden Hotel from May 25-27th. Traditional Rajasthani cuisine was the main feature and was perfectly juxtaposed against a backdrop of Rajasthani folk dance and music. Entertainment for the younger guests was also thoughtfully put together. Some of the highlights were a drawing competition and fancy dress competition as well as a puppet show.

A VIP Visit

Chief Minister of Rajasthan visits Bikaner
The Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Maharani Sahiba Vasundhara Raje Scindia recently visited Bikaner and its environs on a four-day tour. Her visit was to meet with the people of the area, from the grassroots up and to address their grievance but during her visit she stayed at Gajner Palace, Gajner on May 5th and 6th. The Chief Minister was greatly impressed with the royal heritage hospitality of HRH Group of Hotels and applauded the efforts of Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur and his contribution to the conservation of heritage.
