Baisa Krapa Kumariji Chauhaan of Parsoli and Raja Sahib Mayuraj Singh of Bhinai
The marriage of Baisa Krapa Kumari, daughter of Thakur and Thakurani Takhat Singh and Raja Sahib Mayuraj Singh, son of the Late Raja Saheb Narendra Singh of Bhinai took place on the 1st July 2007. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended a reception at The Lawns, Rajputana Resort, Udaipur to celebrate the occasion.
Miss Seema Patel and Mr. Mukul Sukhwal
The marriage of Seema, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bhupendra Patel and Mukul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Madhu Sudan Sukhwal took place at The Rani Village Resort, Udaipur on the July 01, 2007. The celebrations commenced with Ganapati Sthapna, Mangal Kalash poojan, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the wedding ceremony and reception to celebrate the occasion.

The marriage of Arti, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ramesh Chandra Acharya and Vipul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Madhusudan Sharma took place on the 1st July. The marriage also took place of Seema, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Banshilal Sharma and Bhuwan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Madhusudan Sharma. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended a reception for both couples held at Bhupal Nobles Girls College, Udaipur before the wedding ceremonies
Miss Astha Ranawat and Mr. Ambrish Singh
The marriage of Astha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ramsingh Ranawat and Ambrish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ramesh Kaviya took place at the Field Club Guest House, Udaipur on the 1st July 2007. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the wedding reception, held on the following day.
Miss Gurbani Waraich and Mr. Harinder Garcha
The marriage of Gurbani, daughter of Brigadier and Mrs. T. P. S. Waraich and Harinder, son of Colonel and Mrs. K. S. Garcha took place at the Tivoli Gardens, Chattarpur on the 3rd July 2007. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended a dinner dance at the Jaipur Riding and Polo Club, Bindaika on the 9th July to celebrate the occasion.
A Golden Wedding Anniversary
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended a dinner at the Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur on the 6th July to celebration the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Harish C Jain.
The Yale Whiffenpoofs
Founded in 1909, the "Whiffs" began as a senior musical quartet that met for weekly concerts at Mory's Temple Bar, a famous Yale tavern. Today, the group has become one of Yale's most celebrated traditions. Every year, 14 senior Yale men are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best known collegiate a cappella group. The Group have performed for generations at a number of venues including The Lincoln Centre and the White House.

After graduation the Whiffs traditionally embark on a 13 week world tour in aid of a chosen charity. In 2007 they visited 35 cities in 17 countries. During their visit to India they stayed in Udaipur for three nights at the Dovecote Wing of Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel. On the 13th July Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted a cocktail party for the group at Shambhu Niwas Palace. The whiffs were delighted by their visit to India's famous heritage City of Lakes and honoured to meet members of the royal family.
Jagannath Rath Yatra Maha Mahotsav
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur was Chief Guest at the Jagannath Rath Yatra Maha Mahotsav festival organized by Dharmotsav Samiti, Mewar on the 16 July 2007.
Accompanied by an entourage from the Royal household Shriji was first to pull the holy chariot as it processed from the Jagdish Temple across the city of Udaipur. Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was also present during the ceremony.
