By train: the city railway station is approximately 02 kilometres outside the City Palace, a drive of maximum 10 minutes
By Air: Maharana Pratap Airport is approximately 25 kms from the City Palace, a drive of about 30 minutes.

General weather conditions
Rajasthan is known for its hot summers and cool winter climate. The best season to visit is between October and February when the average daytime temperature ranges from 18-25 C. During the daytime, lightweight clothing is recommended and a thick woollen shawl in the evenings during the winter months.

Mr. Adityaveer Singh was born in Udaipur and educated in Udaipur itself, and Baroda. He joined the HRH Group in 1997 and immediately identified with the strong working ethos of the Group. Mr. Singh has been deeply appreciative of the HRH Group's leadership and direction in the field of heritage hospitality. In 1999 he became Assistant Manager of The Aodhi Hotel. From there he moved on to Shikarbadi and in June 2005 came as Manager to Fateh Prakash Palace.
Mr. Singh, General Manager Group Operations manages a team of over 103 people who are there to ensure maximum comfort to all visitors and guests.
