An event in Mumbai to inaugurate a new TV cooking series
On September 14th 2007 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, accompanied by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended a glittering event at the ITC Grand Hotel, Mumbai. As the organizers Chief Guest, Shriji was there to inaugurate Rashmi Uday Singh's 13-episode TV show Foodie Fundas with Rashmi. Rashmi Uday Singh is a World Gourmand Award Winner and author of 14 books on food.

Guests included Bollywood star, Suniel Shetty; artists Seema and Jaideep Mehrotra and Dilip Piramal; and the writer Siddharth Shangvi. Aroon Purie, Indian businessman, and the founder and editor in chief of India Today hosted the occasion.
Rashmi's new TV series will track food trends and cutting-edge restaurants and provide useful tips and guidelines from leading food authorities and chefs. Celebrated chefs will provide cooking demos of world famous dishes. In her much acclaimed cookery book Around the World in 80 Plates – a collection of recipes from around the world, Rashmi describes Shriji as 'a royal foodie'. On page 100 of the book, Shriji contributed his favourite dish from a traditional Rajasthani Thal, 'Panchratna ri Dal'.

Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur makes a two-day visit to Kuala Lumpur
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur visited Kuala Lumpur arriving on the 22nd September. During his visit he attended birthday celebrations for Ms. Lim Meng Hong, Representative of Christies Malaysia; a birthday lunch given for Ms. Joan Russell at her Bukit Cheeding tea Estate and a dinner hosted by Mr. S. Bs. Surendran a businessman and Master in Vaastu and Fenghsui. On the 24th September Shriji joined Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Mogan Lourdenadin CEO of MBF holdings Bhd and his wife Puan Sri Datin Suma on their yacht at Pangkor Laut Resort.
