Jagmandir, a man made island, a palace built for pleasure on Lake Pichola is considered one of the most exclusive heritage venues in the world.
This 17th century venue, flawlessly restored and further embellished with appropriate modern services is now open to the corporate or leisure guest; for cocktail parties, theme dinners and musical soirees. Wedding ceremonies are the specialty as the location is truly breathtaking. Buffets for up to 500 guests and sit-down banquets for 300 guests at Jagmandir are immaculately organized by the HRH Group.

The Darikhana Restaurant
The HRH Group has recently developed The Darikhana restaurant as another exclusive venue for stylish dining.
Inaugurated on the 22nd of September by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, this colonnaded restaurant, specially air-conditioned for the summer months, offers the finest Indian and Continental cuisine. At its launch party, a group of 175 guests were invited and the T20 India-Australia Cricket Match was beamed in Live from South Africa on 5 oversize screens. The restaurant also has a Garden Courtyard outside, continuing its refined and discrete quality.
The menu has been specially designed to complement all times of the day as well as the evening. Light snacks and drinks before lunch, an extensive buffet at lunchtime and a diverse al a carte menu is offered for evening dining. The specially prepared four-course dinner is highly recommended. The new bar presents a relaxed setting to enjoy a leisurely drink overlooking the lake.
Spectacular views of the City Palace Complex and Lake Pichola, throughout the day, make The Darikhana and Jagmandir a truly special setting.

An engineering marvel of the 18th century the Barah Patharon ka Mahal or the Palace built with Twelve Stones is located on the eastern side of the Garden Courtyard.

This colonnaded setting is an exclusive bar for guests who wish to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine at Jagmandir. Open throughout the day, guests can enjoy the ambience and breath-taking views of the City Palace Complex and Lake Pichola from this historic venue.

Upon arriving at Jagmandir
For the guest, the Regal Experience begins at Rameshwar Ghat to be ferried on boats to the island-palace, Jagmandir. The boat-ride builds the excitement, whilst offering a 360 degree panoramic view of the City Palace Complex, Lake Palace Hotel, and Arsi Vilas and Mohan Mandir (the smaller island-palaces).
For wedding ceremonies and for banquets, the boats are garlended with flowers and with piped music adding to the celebrations. On landing at the jetty, guests are greeted with showers of rose petals and candle-lit paths decorated with flowers.
