Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit 2007
Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, Joint Managing Director, HRH Group of Hotels, Udaipur was invited to participate in Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit that took place at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in California, USA that was held between October 1-3rd 2007. The Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit was launched in 1999 to provide a forum for women of power and influence who are changing the business landscape. Developed with the guidance of Fortune editors and the input of a number of participants, the MP Women's Summit has become a premiere gathering for influential women. It has grown to include leaders of power in business, the arts, government, and philanthropy.
Speakers at the conference from the USA included Ann Moore, Chairman and CEO Time Inc., Meg Whitman, President and CEO of eBay, the novelist and film director Nora Ephron as well as a number of other powerful and dynamic ladies. "It was wonderful to be in the company of such accomplished ladies! Even though the ladies there were from different professional backgrounds, the issues of success and motivation remain the same. The forum gave me a great opportunity to learn from my colleagues about the demanding and challenging issues faced by senior management!”
Painting Exhibition in New Delhi
The Indian Council of Cultural Relations organised a painting exhibition by Mr. Lazaros Pandos in association with the eminent Indian artist Mr. Jatin Das. Mr. Pandos is a well-known painter from Thessaloniki in Greece. The exhibition was organised at AIFACS Gallery, New Delhi and was inaugurated on October 16, 2007 when Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur attended the exhibition along with Princess Bhargavi Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Thakur Sahib Lokendra Singh of Kotri. |
