Mr. Gulabchand Kataria, Home Minister was Chief Guest at the function when he flagged off the ambulance. He applauded the improvement of the roads in Udaipur but expressed his concern at the increased number of vehicles and particularly the high speeds that are causing accidents. Although Police presence at an incident is rapid, the lack of emergency facilities remains a cause of concern. The ambulance gifted by the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation would be a considerable asset. Mr. Manekchand Jain of The Golcha Group also donated an ambulance at the function
