Mr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attended the dinner hosted in celebration to the wedding of Diggaj, son of Mr and Mrs Pradeep Mogra and Vidhi, daughter of Mr and Mrs Mahendra Pitaliya at Field Club, Fatehpura, Udaipur.

Mr Rajeev Mudaliar, Rtd Mechanical Engineer from Hyderabad and former Vice President- Operations, ABB, Vadodara and his brother Mr Girish S. Mudaliar visited Udaipur and called on Shriji at Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur.

Mr Rajeev and Mr Girish are grandsons of Babu Vasudev Narayan Mudaliar, Former Superintendent of the Palace Motor Garage of Mewar State in the regime of Maharana Bhopal Singh Ji (1930-1965).

Babu Vasudev Narayan Mudaliar did his engineering from Pune College of Engineering in 1908 and got in touch with Udaipur in 1925 where he was given the charge of Mewar Motor Garage and transportation. He was given the residence where the present Garden Hotel is and the Mewar Motor Garage nearby. He was the authority to issue licences in Mewar State. He was instrumental in the purchase of Rolls Royce cars and various other cars as per guidance of the Maharana Bhopal Singh Ji. He used to visit Bombay for the spares and parts of the vehicles from Sanghi Motors.
